DRIVE is closed between July 7 and July 15 for reconstruction work.
Achieving a breakthrough in e-mobility requires an efficient charging infrastructure throughout Germany and Europe.
The charging infrastructure for electric cars is growing. Already today, an electric vehicle (EV) can be conveniently charged at home, at work, while shopping or on motorways. It is important to pursue the goal of using more green electricity for charging e-vehicles.
Volkswagen is committed to expanding the charging network. Working in cooperation together with the joint venture IONITY, the company is installing high-power charging systems on European motorways.
Volkswagen engagiert sich an vielen Stellen für ein dichteres Ladenetz – etwa über das Joint Venture IONITY beim Aufbau von Schnellladern an den europäischen Autobahnen.*
