The DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum welcomed more than 150 invited guests to an exclusive panel talk, where it was all about the icons of the music scene. The event offered a truly unique atmosphere right in the middle of the “ICONIC - A Timeless Journey of Culture, Society and Mobility” exhibition.
Crème-de-la-crème guests and exciting discussions
The former VIVA and MTV presenter and music journalist Markus Kavka guided us through the evening and welcomed iconic guests such as soul singer Joy Denalane, music producer Max Herre, presenter Nova Meierhenrich and soul and hip-hop musician Dennis Lisk, alias Denyo. They swapped views and opinions on the style-defining era of music television and idols and discussed the future and opportunities for the music industry enabled thanks to new technologies.
Musical highlight and prominent guests
After the inspiring panel the Sound System Show by Joy Denalane and Max Herre, providing the musical highlights, got started right in the middle of the ICONIC exhibition. DJ duo BECK TO PONY hit the decks to finish up and ensure just the right festive mood.
The numerous guests included prominent representatives of the VIVA & MTV generation, such as Milka Loff Fernandes, Anastasia Zampounidis, musician Timur Bartels and actor Hardy Krüger, all enthusiastically joining in with the event.
