Even then, "Fire & Ice" was more than just a car – it was a statement. Today, it combines nostalgic memories with modern cult character.

Volkswagen is bringing back the spirit – and the internationally acclaimed DJ Purple Disco Machine has reinterpreted the iconic title song. Together with Jake Shears, a modern disco sound was created that bridges the gap between nostalgia and the present. The music video shows spectacular scenes with the Golf 2 Fire & Ice and its all-electric successor ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE, which you can experience live in our ICONIC exhibition at DRIVE.
