Fourth edition of Peemöller’s HEIMAT Talks

Our series “Origin, Heart, Attitude – Peemöller’s HEIMAT Talk” continues and enters its fourth round, which also engages with the current exhibition “ICONIC – A Timeless Journey of Culture, Society and Mobility.” The ICONIC exhibition provides not only the spatial setting but also the thematic resonance: From the Beetle to the Bulli to the Porsche 911 – the icons on display represent more than technology and design. They tell stories of departure, belonging, and cultural change. The talk picks up on these impulses and expands them on a personal level: What does ‘home’ mean in a mobile and globalized world? What role does it play for belonging, familiarity, and identity? What significance do places, objects, and memories have for our sense of identity?

he talk will once again be moderated by author and journalist Ilka Peemöller, who, among other roles, served as head of the Berlin bureau of BUNTE In the third edition, Ilka Peemöller welcomed actress Gisa Flake and Germany’s renowned film and television producer Nico Hofmann. Ilka Peemöller d ie Schauspielerin Gisa Flake und Deutschland Film- und Fernsehproduzent Nico Hofmann.
