DRIVE.culinary: actor Devid Striesow and the young Michelin-star chef Silvio Pfeufer provide a foretaste of the new culinary concept at the DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin – and chat about sustainability, electric cars and their cooking skills.
His greatest strength is his ability to change: we are talking about Devid Striesow. Now the actor has shown that he can do a good job in front of the camera and on stage, but also in the kitchen. Together with Michelin-star chef Silvio Pfeufer from the “einsunternull” restaurant in Berlin-Mitte (one MICHELIN star) he found himself facing pots and pans at the DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum.
The reason for this fast-paced cooking session? The two gave us a taste of what guests can soon expect at the DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum in the heart of the capital (Unter den Linden). This where guests can sample gastronomic delights with the DRIVE.culinary event programme from December 2021 onwards.
The aim of this new restaurant culture in Volkswagen’s prestigious premises is to combine sustainable cuisine and entertainment with the social issues of mobility, culture and music – reminiscent of the Berlin Salons of yesteryear – and thus open up new ways of looking at things. The VIP chef duo of Devid Striesow and Silvio Pfeufer have tried out the kitchen before. However, due to the current circumstances, naturally with all necessary safety measures, such as social distancing, masks and testing.
And in another starring role: the new ID.4, Volkswagen’s first all-electric SUV. Devid Striesow drove to the DRIVE in it and recalled: “I was here at the opening when Robbie Williams sang. And now I am excited to see the “Experience our Way to Zero” exhibition on the subject of electric mobility and the new culinary event series.”
