The International Stadium Festival (ISTAF) in Berlin is once again a highpoint of the track and field year in 2024! A spectacular event in the Olympic Stadium guaranteeing thrilling moments and top sporting performances awaits the sports world on Sunday 1 September 2024.
As one of the most steeped-in-tradition track and field events in the world, ISTAF has been bringing the world’s best athletes together for over 100 years and fascinates spectators with a unique combination of top-class sports and enthralling atmospheres.
Volkswagen has now been supporting the world’s oldest track and field meeting since 2010.
In addition to ISTAF Meeting Director Martin Seeber, on 30 August 2024 presenter Matthias Killing welcomed Gina Lückenkemper (Olympic bronze medallist, 4 x 100 metres relay), Grant Holloway (Olympic gold medallist, 110 metres hurdles) and Leo Neugebauer (Olympic silver medallist, decathlon).
Leo Neugebauer and Gina Lückenkemper also visited the current exhibition here and were highly impressed by the iconic exhibits, such as the T1 Samba Bus, “Renate”, for example.
The ISTAF organizers are expecting more than 35,000 fans on Sunday.
