Technology. Knowledge. Rethink – How do we achieve the ‘Sustainability Revolution’?
The DRIVE provided an appropriate platform for a discussion about key future issues and a forum to ask questions, hold controversial discussions and convince the public with facts and figures in its new panel talk series entitled “DRIVE.ahead”.
The discussion will focus, among other things, on the expansion of renewable energies and the necessary infrastructure. For instance, electric vehicles could be used carbon-neutrally over their entire life cycle with environmentally-friendly and sustainable power generation. Further issues up for discussion include: which technologies can help with sustainable production – buzz word ‘smart factories’? Will our consumption decide the fate of the climate over the next centuries? Which countries are role models in terms of sustainability and what can we learn from them in Germany?
